AspireMN

Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc is a proud member agency of and in good standing with AspireMN. A professional association of therapeutic providers, AspireMN is a leading voice in maintaining and strengthening high-quality care and treatment for children receiving specialty mental health services in the State of Minnesota. The work of AspireMN includes legislative and governmental agency advocacy for children’s issues, public education, professional development and peer consultation to our members.

TSA’s Executive Director served as President of the Board of AspireMN in 2006 and 2007.

Kinship Navigator 

As a member of AspireMN, TSA is excited and honored to share this Kinship Navigator Resource that was collaboratively developed by MN Adopt, AspireMN colleague agencies, Mitchell Hamline School of Law, both Department of Human Services Licensing and Policy Divisions, and QPI-MN.  This Kinship Navigator is intended to help define Kinship Terms and provide a variety of resources and Frequently Asked Questions for people involved in kinship care.  Please access the link for more information.

 

 

Quality Parenting Initiative

Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc is also a proud founding member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Quality Parenting Initiative (QPI). QPI is a nationally founded program focused on the reform of the child welfare system, specifically addressing Foster Care. The Child and Adolescent Treatment Foster Care Programs of TSA have committed to supporting our foster parents, the children and their birth families through TSA's original roots of specialized support, complimented by the Quality Parenting Initiative focus.

Children's Defense Fund - Minnesota

The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Leave No Child Behind mission is to ensure every child has a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities. CDF provides a strong, effective and independent voice for all the children of America who cannot vote, lobby or speak for themselves. They pay particular attention to the needs of poor children, children of color and those with disabilities. CDF educates the nation about the needs of children and encourages preventive investments before they get sick, drop out of school, get into trouble or suffer family breakdown.

MinnesotaHelp.info is an online directory of services designed to help people in Minnesota find human services, information and referral, financial assistance, and other forms of help. It is especially rich in resource information for seniors and their caregivers.

MN ADOPT

MN ADOPT promotes and supports successful adoptions for Minnesota children and families. MN ADOPT is contracted by the Department of Human Services and is dedicated to supporting and sustaining families who adopt Minnesota Waiting Children by providing online resources and referrals to therapeutic and crisis services, support groups, adoption information and comprehensive training opportunities.
