Cara Howard, MA, LPCC

Cara Howard a Mental Health Professional who is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Bethel University.  She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. 

Cara has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient mental health setting, as well as having been a mobile crisis assessor in the surrounding five county area.  Cara has participated in specialized training to provide DC:0-3 Assessments for very young children as well as utilizing play therapy approaches with young clients and their families. Cara is also trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). 

Cara provides outpatient mental health services at Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc. with a special interest in individual counseling with SPMI populations, Developmental Delay, Autism/Aspergers, Traumatic Brain Injury, and young children and their families.
