Don Moyer, MSW, LICSW, LADC

Don Moyer is a Mental Health Professional who earned a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University with a concentration in family therapy and addiction. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois with major in psychology and minor in speech communication.

Don has been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 1983, first in Illinois and then in Minnesota, and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 1983, first in Illinois and then in Minnesota.

Don has had a broad career in the helping businesses, as an addiction counselor, treatment facility manager, youth counselor, crisis intervention work and suicide prevention hotline manager and trainer, chronic pain program counselor and supervisor, relapse prevention specialist, sex offender treatment counselor, family program supervisor, inpatient treatment unit supervisor, supervisor of on-line recovery support program, trainer and program consultant, private practice manager, and an international educator, working in the US, Germany, Portugal, Canada, and Australia.  Don has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Currently, Don looks forward to working with individuals, couples and families who are working to solve family and mental health problems.
