Kara Moen, MSW, LGSW

Kara Moen is a Mental Health Practitioner who has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University. 

She is currently licensed as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). Kara has significant experience working with at-risk families, having worked with families involved in Child Protection services and also within the Parent Support Outreach Programs (PSOP).  Kara has received extensive training on Signs of Safety; a specialized approach that focuses on building relationships to reach goals to improve family functioning. Kara is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and has completed a certificate program in Permanency and Adoption Competency through the University of Minnesota.  Kara currently works with children and families at Rush City High School as part of the School Linked Mental Health Program in addition to working in TSA's Child and Adolescent Treatment Programs.
