Lainie Janke, MSW, LICSW

Lainie Janke is a Mental Health Professional and is the Director of Community Based Programs at TSA.  She obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.  

Lainie has practiced in the field of mental health for 20+ years, and has been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 2004.  In her current role, Lainie supervises the Child/Adolescent Treatment Foster Care Programs, In-Home Family Based Services, Community Based Group Skills, and supervises a Mental Health Practitioner in a Level 4 school setting.  Lainie is a Board approved Clinical Social Work Supervisor and provides Licensure Supervision to staff.  Prior experience for Lainie has included work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, groups and families.  She has provided services to diverse populations including Diagnostic Assessments, psychotherapy, case management and skills training.  Lainie has experience providing supervisory services in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional facilities and has supervised staff who complete forensic court-ordered evaluations.  Lainie is formally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Managing Adaptive Practices (MAP), Developmental Theory and Attachment work.  Professional highlights include clinical administration experience – with 6+ years of administrative and supervisory experience at TSA, 2 years of supervisory and administrative experience in state government, and 3 ½ years of experience in corporate health care in a supervisory and administrative role.  Lainie’s passions in her work include Child Welfare/foster care, Policy, Supervision, being a Trainer to staff and colleagues and program development.
