Dr. Lisa Nos-Tollefson, PsyD, LPCC, IMH-E®


Dr. Lisa Nos-Tollefson is a Mental Health Professional who earned her Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.  She participated in a Master’s Degree program for Sport Psychology at Florida State University, and completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Augsburg College.

Dr. Nos-Tollefson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is a Certified Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist through the University of MN Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Program.  Dr. Nos-Tollefson has received MACMH-IEC Endorsement® for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health® as an Infant Mental Health Mentor-Clinical and is a Certified Adoption Specialist through the Permanency and Adoption Competency Program. She has had the opportunity to train and provide services in a variety of clinical settings including Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Northwoods Children’s Services and both private and community mental health clinics.  Dr. Nos-Tollefson has been honored to provide services through Therapeutic Services Agency since 2011.  She is involved in the Child Treatment Program, Adolescent Treatment Program, Outpatient Program, Therapeutic Foster Care, and provides educational trainings and Reflective Consultation and Supervision to collaborative community partners.  Dr. Nos-Tollefson provides services for individuals and families of all ages; however, is an Infant and Early Childhood specialist and primarily provides assessment, treatment, and care of infants and young children (ages birth-6).  She is able to provide services for children with complex trauma histories, attachment difficulties, and emotional and behavioral problems.  She is a nationally rostered Clinician for Trauma-Informed Child-Parent Psychotherapy ,  Nationally Certified  in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilizes other therapeutic modalities such as play therapy.  Dr. Nos-Tollefson enjoys working with children and families, and collaborating with other resources to provide the best service possible.
